To provide a drug dispensing device which permits drugs to be always positioned in prescribed positions and to be appropriately dispensed even when storage quantity is a fraction while increasing the storage quantity of blister packages and realizing quick dispensing.
A storage container storing the blister packages in a stacked condition has an ejection opening and an opening and closing door 10. The opening and closing door 10 has a holding portion 19 movable to a holding position where it holds the blister packages discharged from the ejection opening of the storage container and a release position where it releases them, an urging portion urging the holding portion 19 to the holding position, and a reference plane which permits the lower edges of the blister packages to butt against the plane and position them when the holding portion is moved to the release position. When the blister packages are to be held in the opening and closing door 10, the lower edges of the blister packages are positioned by deadweight to the reference plane by driving and controlling a grasp member and once rotating the holding portion to the release position by an operating portion.
