To provide a chemical agent-evaporating apparatus which can use a fuel battery as an electric power source to evaporate a chemical agent in the atmosphere, can be smoothly activated and use the fuel battery even at a place having a low ambient temperature without causing a trouble, and does not affect the chemical agent, when the fuel battery is activated.
This chemical agent-evaporating apparatus is characterized by disposing the fuel battery 2 in the second main body 6 of the apparatus main body 1, disposing a heat generator 3 and a chemical agent holder 4 in the first main body 5, using the fuel battery 2 as a power source to generate heat from the heat generator 3, thereby heating the chemical agent holder 4 to evaporate the chemical agent, separably connecting the first main body 5 to the second main body 6, and separating the first main body 5 from the second main body 6 to expose the fuel battery 2 on the upper side of the second main body 6. Thus, when the fuel battery 2 is heated with an outer heating means in the state at a place having a low ambient temperature, the fuel battery can be heated and smoothly activated, and the heat does not transmit to the chemical agent holder 4 to prevent the adverse affection of the chemical agent.
