Abstract:
To provide a drug delivery device capable of determining a state of weight measurement means requiring no robot or no need to use multiple gravimetric means.SOLUTION: A drug feeder includes: a drug container for containing powder medicine; a holding member holding the drug container; and weight measuring means that directly or indirectly measures the weight of a drug container. The drug feeder discharges the powder medicine from the drug container and is capable of detecting a discharge amount of the powder medicine by the weight measuring means. The drug feeder has a weight member 42 and lifting means that lifts up/down at least any of the weight member 42, the weight measuring means or the drug container. The drug feeder is configured to perform calibration and/or fault detection of the weight-measuring means by comparing a state with a load of the weight member 42 applied to the weight-measuring means with a state with no load of the weight member 42 applied to the weight measuring means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
