Abstract:
To provide a stable braking force, suppressing a brake noise and a moaning effect and improving durability of a brake shoe.
Brake shoes 3, 4 are oppositely disposed in a pair on a back plate 2. An anchor pin 8 that acts as a spreading supporting point is arranged between edges of the brake shoes 3, 4, and a cam 7 that spreads out the both brake shoes 3, 4 is arranged between other edges of the brake shoes. The other edges 3c, 4c of the brake shoes 3, 4 are built up by welding to form built-up segments 3g, 4g, to improve stiffness of the edges 3c, 4c.
