PURPOSE: To certainly locate a contact roller on the rotating orbit of a mouth of a drum and align the position of the mouth of the drum in a regular direction by forcibly revolving the drum by a drum sticking head after the center of the drum is strictly determined by rollers for three-point support.

CONSTITUTION: A drum X located on supporting rollers is moved to a position determined by rollers 18A, 18B and 18C for three-point support to match the center of the drum with that of a drum sticking head 33. The drum stuck by the drum sticking head 33 is revolved around a low speed rotation axis 32, and when a mouth x1 of the drum X reaches the position of a contact roller 41, the contact roller 41 runs on the mouth x1, a measuring arm 40 supporting the contact roller 41 is turned, a slit 42a of a slit disc 42, which rotates together with the measuring arm 40, is detected by a photo-coupler 43, and a geared motor 31 is stopped. As a result, the overall position of the drum X and the position of the mouth x1 is adjusted.
