Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for safely and easily transporting a drum.
SOLUTION: A rotating shaft is provided in front of a base plate formed of a plate body of suitable shape, and casters are attached to the suitable parts of the lower face of the base plate and the lower faces of a pair of plates continuous with the rotating shaft. An inclined lever is fastened to the upper face of one plate, and the angle of the casters to the base plate can be adjusted by the operation of the inclined lever, while a locking plate of small plate shape is attached to the upper face of the base plate near the inclined lever by a suitable support member obliquely and rotatably within a prescribed range. A locking lever is fastened to the locking plate, and the inclined lever can be locked by the operation of the locking lever. The parallel position and inclined position of the base plate can thereby be selected by the operation of the inclined lever, and the position of the inclined lever can be locked and unlocked.
