Abstract:
PURPOSE:To promote the solid-liquid separation in a precipitation drum and at the same time, to improve the washing effect for solid by dropping down the raw material from a raw material introducing pipe to the precipitation drum through a small drum, and agitating the raw material with agitation plates in the small drum. CONSTITUTION:The muddy water contg. the excavated soil sent from an excavator is introduced in the drum type classifier 2 through a raw material introducing pipe 25, and allowed to collide against the plate type collision body 29 and then dropped down in a small drum 32. As the small drum 32 is integrally rotated with the precipitation drum 18 and soil, sand and muddy water are agitated by agitating blades 34, sand for aggregation and fine sand are suitably separated and then dropped in the muddy water in the precipitation drum 18 through an opening 33. Consequently, the particles of large diameter and small diameter are considerably separated in the small drum 32, and the agitation of muddy water in the precipitation drum 18 is reduced, so that washing and precipitation of soil are promoted and the recovery rate is improved.
