Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of a filter by forming a drum warm air inlet comprising many holes on a drum support supporting a rotatable drum, providing a heat generating device on an upstream of the warm air and providing a filter at a specified gap from the drum warm air inlet.
SOLUTION: A clothing fed into a drum 4 is stirred and turned by a motor 5 and dried by a warm air heated by a heat generating device 27 that is sent from a drum warm air inlet 11 to the drum 4. In the drying process, when a lint adhered to the clothing and a lint generated during drying try to enter from the drum warm air inlet to the heat generating device 27, the lint is captured by a filter 34 arranged at a specified gap from the drum warm air inlet 11 and accumulated in a gap A between the drum warm air inlet 11. The accumulated lint is returned in the drum 4 by an air pressure of a blowing fan 13 in a circulating air duct 17, thereby clogging of the filter 34 is prevented.
