To provide an excellently designed drum type washing and drying machine where a detergent throw-in case is excellently operated.
The drum type washing and drying machine includes the detergent throw-in case 53 which is drawable forward from the front frame 51 of a washing machine body 50, so as to be stored in the storage part 65 of the front frame 51. The storage part 65 is arranged in the upper part of a front surface of the front frame 51. An inclination part 67 for hooking a finger in the storage state of the detergent throw-in case 53 is formed in a top plate 54 on the upper surface of the body. A box body 68 with an open top for inserting the finger is arranged on the rear surface of the upper part of the detergent throw-in case 53 in response to the inclination part 67. When the detergent throw-in case 53 is drawn out, the finger is hooked at the box body 68 with a natural action, so as to draw out the detergent throw-in case 53. Thus, excellent convenience is obtained. Besides, since the inclination part 67 for hooking the finger in the storage state of the detergent throw-in case is arranged in the top plate 54 in the upper part on the front surface of the body 50, conspicuousness from the front surface of the body 50 is eliminated, so as to reduce division lines and to improve the design.
