PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine which can remove lint captured by a lint filter sufficiently and can prevent drying performance degradation.SOLUTION: A drum-type washing and drying machine comprises: a drying chamber 14 taking clothing inside; a circulation air course 20 provided in the drying chamber 14 and connecting an intake vent 10 and an exhaust vent 11; ventilation means 36 circulating air in the drying chamber 14 through the circulation air course 20; dehumidification means 34 dehumidifying air flowing through the circulation air course 20; heating means 35 heating air in the circulation air course 20; a planar lint filter 58 capturing lint drifting in the circulation air course 20; cleaning means 60a and 60b cleaning the lint filter 58; and a drive mechanism 62 moving the lint filter 58 for the cleaning means 60a and 60b so that the cleaning means 60a and 60b collects the lint captured by the lint filter 58.
