The drum washing machine is provided with water supply means 40 capable of switching a water supply path between a path 42 for supplying water into a water receiving tank 32 and a path 43 for supplying water to a drain path 41. Control means 45 has memory means 48 for memorizing a periodical operation setting of the water supply means 40, and operates the water supply means 40 after a washing operation is completed, on the basis of the memorized information, to make the water supply means 40 supply water to the drain path 41 for a predetermined period of time. The drum washing machine can clean the inner part of the drain path and a drain hose by regularly cleaning the drain path 41, and thereby prevents the foreign matters from clogging the drain path and the drain hose.
