Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent drunken driving, by detecting the concentration of alcohol, drunk by a driver, in a driver's seat by a detector and providing a breaker circuit which inhibits starting an engine when the concentration is in a reference value or more. CONSTITUTION:Alcohol, contained in a breath of a driver seated in a driver's seat, is detected by an alcohol detecting sensor 3 and input to a drunken driving discriminator 4. The discriminator 4 decides the concentration of alcohol to be compared with a reference value. And when the concentration of alcohol is in the reference value or more, a relay normally closed contact RL1b1 is turned off. Accordingly, a breaker circuit operates cutting off an ignition circuit 10, and the driving comes to be unable by inhibiting starting an engine. By this constitution, drunken driving is prevented.
