Abstract:

To provide a dry battery-type charger for a cellular phone excellent in inexpensive property, safety and portability, and capable of surely charging a Li-ion battery of a cellular phone while efficiently using capacity and electromotive force of a dry battery.

In this dry battery-type charger 40 for a cellular phone used for charging a built-in secondary battery 51 of the cellular phone 50, a dry battery 10 composed by setting an open-circuit voltage not less than 1.680 V and less than 1.723 V by using a positive electrode action substance containing manganese dioxide as a main constituent, and by including nickel oxyhydroxide as an accessary constituent of the action substance is used as a charging battery.
