Abstract:

To provide extract granules from the barks of a Bignoniaceae plant such as Tabebuia avellanedae from South America, and to provide a method for producing the extract granules, whereby only the active ingredient of the barks of a Bignoniaceae plant can instantly be eaten without accompanying a decocting work.

This method for producing the Tabebuia avellanedae hot water extract granules is characterized by extracting the dry powder of Tabebuia avellanedae with hot water, spray-drying the extract in the presence of dextrin as a drying auxiliary, then granulating the dried product with a fluidized bed granulating machine in the presence of hot water as a binder.
