Title:
DRY BOTTOM ASH TREATMENT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3233201
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a combustion of a combustible ash product while facilitating an emptying of hoppers in a bottom ash treatment system.
SOLUTION: In a dry bottom ash treatment system 10, a plurality of hoppers 15 are disposed below a solid fuel combustion steam boiler 11. Each hopper is provided with walls having an inclination angle and these walls are converged to a generally rectangular-shaped opening portion which is controlled by a fire grate. An air inlet is formed where the end brims of the neighboring inclined walls are merged so that the combustion of an unburned fuel in the storage hopper is enhanced while the flow of ash through the hopper opening becomes smooth. The ash which flows through the hopper opening is fed to a crusher mechanism 20 and then is transferred to a treatment point where a movable tank track 1 is disposed by way of a vacuum line 37, wherein heavy ash particles are collected in the tank and light particles are bypassed to a silo.
