To prepare a disposable dry cap agreeable to the touch and quick in drying hair by laminating a layer of a liquid-impermeable sheet and a layer of a liquid-permeable sheet on the outer surface and on the inner surface of a water-absorbing sheet containing high water-absorbane polymer, respectively.
A liquid-impermeable sheet consisting of polyethylene film, etc., is laminated on the outer surface of a water-absorbing sheet containing a high water-absorbance polymer whose water-absorbing capacity is ≥100wt.% preferably ≥300wt.% of the weight of the high water-absorbance polymer itself in such amount that the total amount of water absorption of a dry cap becomes ≥20wt.%, preferably ≥100wt.% of the weight of the dry cap itself. Further, a liquid-permeable sheet consisting of porous polylefin is laminated on the inner surface of the water-absorbing sheet, and thereafter they are formed into the objective dry cap.
