To provide a dry type defibrator capable of sufficiently defibrating waste paper raw materials and excellent in energy efficiency.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a dry type defibrator for defibrating waste paper raw materials, which has a fixed blade disk and a rotary blade disk inside a cylindrical casing. The rotary blade disk is provided in a coaxial core shape with a gap for supplying the waste paper raw material to the surface of the fixed blade disk, the fixed blade disk and the rotary blade disk have a blade groove shape for defibrating the waste paper raw material on the surfaces facing each other, and the rotary blade disk rotates around the coaxial core, and the blade groove shape of the rotary blade disk is a shape in which the defibrated waste paper pulp derived from the waste paper raw material is not discharged to the outside through the gap of the outer edge between the disks by centrifugal force generated by rotating the rotary blade disk.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
