In order to slice a block of dry ice held by a dry ice holding basket into a plurality of pieces through the use of a plurality of circular saw blades, a dry ice slicer is constituted using a basket reciprocating device which reciprocates the dry ice holding basket from a taking-in/out part of dry ice at which the plurality of circular saw blades are not positioned to a slicing completion position of a block of dry ice with the plurality of circular saw blades using a screw shaft.
