Abstract:

To provide a dry lubrication film composition which is obtained by blending a solid lubricant with a resin and is excellent in adhesion, slidability and heat resistance.

Adhesion and flexibility are imparted by polymer-alloying a polybenzimidazole resin having excellent heat resistance and strength by at least one kind of polymer-alloying resin selected from a polyamideimide resin, a polyamide resin and an epoxy resin. The dry lubrication film composition is obtained by dispersing a solid lubricant in a binder resin which is the polymer-alloyed polybenzimidazole resin. When coated on the surface of a metallic material, the composition forms a dry lubrication film having excellent adhesion, slidability and heat resistance.
