To impart a coarse-ground feeling to the texture of dry meat-like food having a small amount of a meat raw material used.

Dry meat-like food includes a heat-coagulated protein-containing base material and heat resistant granular gel at least as constitutive ingredients, wherein the granular gel is dispersed and fixed in the base material.
