PURPOSE: To produce an economical dry pellet excellent in the feed efficiency and productivity while freely controlling the buoyancy by forming a space for controlling the buoyancy by using a non-expanded space-forming material.

CONSTITUTION: An objective pellet suitable for a feed for fish culture obtained by adding a non-expanded space-forming material shrinking by drying, disappearing by evaporation, swelling without showing viscosity by absorption of water and free from gelatinization to pellet raw materials such as fish powder, soybean oil cake and wheat floor, kneadig the resultant mixture extruding and forming the kneaded material into a rod shape of 3mm-1cm diameter and drying it.
