To provide a dry-processing apparatus having a structure that transmits fewer sounds generated in a casing to a user.
The apparatus includes a circulation mechanism for circulating a dry air to dry clothes and a main casing including an input surface with an input port through which the clothes are thrown. The circulation mechanism is equipped with a removable device to remove lint from the dry air and the removal device has an introduction port to take in an air outside the main casing to cool the circulation mechanism. The main casing includes a cover element which has a suction port communicating with the introduction port and an extraction surface on which a take-out port is formed to take the removal device in and out of the main casing. The cover element blocks the take-out port and the suction port opens in the opposite direction of the input surface.
