PURPOSE: To reduce a fog density and improve the preservation stability before use by containing a specific quantity of a solvent in a heat developing photosensitive element constituted of organic silver salt, a reducing agent, a photosensitive silver halide, and a binder.
CONSTITUTION: One or multiple layers of heat developing photosensitive elements constituted of organic silver salt, a reducing agent, a photosensitive silver halide and/or a photosensitive silver halide molding, and a binder are formed on a base, and the heat developing photosensitive elements contain the total quantity (weight reference) of 30-5,000ppm of a solvent. The organic silver salt and others can be contained in a single layer, or long-chain fatty acid silver salt and the reducing agent may be separately contained in multiple layers, or a layer containing the long-chain fatty acid silver salt or the reducing agent may be provided above or below the single layer to form multiple layers. The solvent quantity in the heat developing photosensitive element layer can be adjusted when the temperature and blowing time of the hot air are properly selected during the drying process after the coating of the photosensitive element, for example.
