Abstract:
To provide a dry type working caisson and its installation method that can form the same dry working space as land around an underwater structure even in a place with a small under-girder space.
The dry type working caisson 1 is formed by uniting hollow caisson bodies 2, 3 of recessed shape from the top view, face to face, wherein the caisson bodies 2, 3 are formed with cutting edge parts 12 at the bottom parts, with the inner surfaces inclined downward to the outside, and the cutting edge parts 12 are provided with injection nozzles 13 for injecting high pressure water, and vertically movable unevenness adjusting plates 14 projected from the tips of the cutting edge parts 12.
