Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer canvas for papermaking having small degree of freedom at interlaced sites of warps and wefts even in the case of the canvas made of synthetic fiber monofilament yarns.
SOLUTION: In a dryer canvas for papermaking which is made by weaving warps and wefts made of synthetic fiber monofilament yarns, a modified cross- section monofilament yarn having at least three protrusions is used as the wefts.
