Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dryer and a drying apparatus using the same in which cleaned items cleaned with various kinds of cleaning liquids can be efficiently dried.
CONSTITUTION: Gas is injected from gas injection nozzles 5a and 5b to a cylindrical member 2 through which cleaned items 1 pass, where the cylindrical member being comprised of a narrow part 3 formed at the central part of the cylindrical member, a gas inlet side tapered part 4a formed at one end side of the narrow part 3 and having a predetermined taper with a cross sectional area while being cut vertically in respect to an axis of it being narrowed toward the narrow part 3, and a gas outlet tapered part 4b having a predetermined taper formed at the other end side of the narrow part 3 with the sectional area while being cut vertically in respect to an axis of it being decreased toward the narrow part 3. Both gas injected from the gas injection nozzles 5a and 5b and sucked gas are flowed into the narrow part 3 while being compressed and struck strongly against the cleaned items 1 within the narrow part 3, and the cleaning liquid adhered to the cleaned items 1 is rapidly dispersed and evaporated.
