Abstract:

To dry the interior of an ink jet printer head in a short time.

Heated gas is supplied into an ink jet printer head 2 ejecting ink from a plurality of nozzle holes 2a selectively in the form of ink drops in order to dry the interior of the ink jet printer head 2 wetted with liquid. Since the heated gas passes through the interior of the ink jet printer head 2 and spreads to the details thereof, interior of the ink jet printer head 2 can be dried in a short time.
