To provide a dryer felt for paper making machine capable of preferably using in a drying part of a multicylinder dryer in paper making for application which requires a high quality level such as fine paper or body paper of coating, having excellent flexibility in warp direction and rigidity in weft direction and surface flatness, excellent in shape retention property, traveling stability.

This dryer felt comprising a ground fabric obtained by interweaving warps and wefts and a nonwoven fabric layer interlacing on a side or both sides of the ground fabric by needle punching a web, the warp 11 is a synthetic monofilament having a cross section inscribing to a quadrangle which has perpendicular size (a) smaller than the size of the cross direction (b), and comprising a continuous curve (m), or a linear line (p) and a continuous curve (n) and has no linear line in the perpendicular direction and has a surface area larger than the normal oval inscribing to the quadrangle, and the warp 11 has 100-175% of filling rate.
