To provide a dryer for a plate-shaped material wherein stuck materials can be suitably brown up even though using the shortest air nozzle device is employed.
This is the dryer for a plate-shaped material which dries upper and lower surfaces 1a by the air nozzle device 10 while the plate-shaped material 1 is carried by a roller conveying device 5. A number of nozzle ports 15 of the air nozzle device 10 are formed in a perpendicular direction B to a carrying direction A to the plate-shaped material 1. The air blowing direction C of the group of the nozzle ports 15 is formed by θ1 in a tilt angle opposite to the carrying direction A and by θ2 in a traverse angle tilted to one side perpendicular to the carrying direction A. The air nozzle device 10 is constituted in the shortest length and the installation is easy and simple. The stuck materials on the surface 1a are moved by the flow of a conveyer to be steadily removed.
