Title:
DRYER FOR REFRIGERATION CYCLE, AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013133987
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a dryer for a refrigeration cycle which has an adsorbent capable of adsorbing moisture contained in a refrigerant and causes no adsorbent deterioration owing to a decrease of heat resistance during water absorption.

An adsorbent is composed of a polyacrylic acid or a polyacrylate-based polymer which is schematically represented by formula (I) (in the formula, M denotes a hydrogen atom or a monovalent or divalent metal atom wherein a ratio occupied by a -COOM [here, M denotes only a metal atom] is 10% or less against the entire content of -COOM). In addition, the adsorbent is composed in such a way that when a relation between a relative humidity of an atmosphere surrounding the adsorbent and an adsorption rate of moisture in the adsorbent is plotted, a degree of increase in the adsorption rate of moisture increases with an increase in the relative humidity.
