Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a water content of sludge in a dryer to prevent the sludge from sticking in the dryer.SOLUTION: A dryer system 10 comprises a dryer 1, a sludge supply line 11, a sludge discharge line 12, and a return line 13 including a return pump 4. Water contents from a primary water content meter 5 and a secondary water content meter 6 are sent to an optimum return volume calculation unit 7. The optimum return volume calculation unit 7 controls the return pump 4 to adjust a return volume of sludge to be returned by the return line 13 so that a water content in the dryer 1 is outside a range of 50 to 60%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
