A dryer 14 dries ink on a web W conveyed. A controller 20 can adjust the rotation number of printing machine being a web conveying speed and can adjust the temperature in the apparatus. The dryer can perform temperature control in the apparatus which adjusts the temperature in the apparatus based on the conveying speed of the web W and web temperature control which adjusts the temperature in the apparatus based on the conveying speed of the web W and the temperature of web, and can shift control between the temperature control in the apparatus and the web temperature control based on the web temperature.
