The apparatus is characterized by being provided with a dryer 1 mixing, crushing and drying the waste food W, and a crusher 5 previously crushing the waste food W to be fed to the dryer 1 together with a constant feeder quantitatively feeding the waste food W to the dryer 1 from the above crusher 5. Since the waste food W are continuously or semi-continuously charged to the dryer 1 in a state of the crushed waste food W, the apparatus can treat the waste food W in the state of mixtures with the dried wastes D without reducing the amount of one batch of the feed waste W chargeable into the dryer 1.
