To provide a drying control method for a dryer attaining optimal drying control conformed to each stage of a drying process of dried food of Shiitake mushrooms or the like.
In an early stage of drying where the relative humidity of an exhaust port peripheral part exceeds 30% based on a detection signal of a relative humidity detecting sensor 46 installed near an exhaust port 34, the opening amount of an intake damper 23 is maximized to totally open an intake port 21 and to totally close a hot air circulating port 35, and the opening amount of an exhaust damper 33 is maximized to totally open the exhaust port 34. In a drying middle stage where the same relative humidity is 10-30%, the opening amount of the intake damper 23 is set to half to one-third to open the intake port 21 by half to one-third and to close the hot air circulating port 35 by half to one-third, and the opening amount of the exhaust damper 33 is set to half to one-third to open the exhaust port 34 by half to one-third. In a drying latter stage where the same relative humidity is 10% or less, the opening amount of the intake damper 23 is minimized to totally close the intake port 21 and to totally open the hot air circulating port 35, and the opening amount of the exhaust damper 33 is minimized to totally close the exhaust port 34.
