To provide a drying control method for a dryer capable of manufacturing a dried product of favorable quality by attaining an optimum drying operation matched to the harvesting state of agricultural crops or the like such as rainy weather or fine weather of a harvesting time.
In the drying control method of a dryer including a hot air generator 2 and a drying chamber 3 and configured to dry materials arranged in the drying chamber by blowing up hot air sent to the lower part of the drying chamber from the hot generator in the drying chamber, when gradually raising a drying temperature in the drying chamber for each step of a drying initial stage, a drying intermediate stage, and a drying later stage according to a drying program, if a detection value of relative humidity in the drying chamber in each step reaches a set value of relative humidity in the drying chamber in each process before the remaining setting time of each process passes, the device is controlled so that the raising operation of drying temperature in the drying chamber is performed at that point of time to be shifted to the following step, and drying is terminated upon the lapse of the set time in a termination step of the drying latter stage.
