Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device for removing moisture, invaded into a honeycomb sandwich structure, without deteriorating the honeycomb type thin sheet structure.
CONSTITUTION: The present device is structured so that the inside and the outside of a honeycomb sandwich structure (panel) 6 are kept in a low pressure condition and a heater 9 is provided in a pressure vessel 8 to increase an atmospheric temperature to the degree of 70°C, the pressure vessel 8 is connected to a vacuum pump 11 through a pipe 12 and dry air is sent to the vicinity of the panel 6 or into the holes of the panel through a pipe.
