Abstract:
To provide an optimum drying device that prevents the occurrence of migration.
The drying device 100 dries a base material 10 having a coating 12 applied slurry, while carrying the base material. The device includes: a drying furnace 20 for drying the coating 12 on the base material 10; and an exhaust port 22 for discharging gas in the drying furnace 20 to the outside of the drying furnace 20. The drying furnace 20 has a plurality of dry zones Z1 to Z3 of which dry atmosphere is different from each other, along a carrying direction of the base material 10. The exhaust port 22 of the drying furnace 20 is arranged downstream the dry zone Z1 positioned the most upstream among the plurality of dry zones Z1 to Z3.
