To provide a drying device whose drying efficiency is improved by increasing an opportunity and an area in which a matter to be dried and dry air come into contact with each other.
In a drying device, a rotary shaft 2 is provided at a drying vessel 1. In the vicinity of the vessel of the rotary shaft, a jet pipe 5 having a plurality of small holes 501 is provided. The small holes are provided to diffuse the mater to be dried. A plate 5a is slantly provided to cover the small holes of the jet pipe from over the small holes. In the jet pipe, pressure air supply means is provided. A diffusing vane includes the rotary shaft. A throw-in port 7 and exhaust port 8 of the matter to be dried are provided at the upper part of the corresponding drying vessel. A plurality of diffusing vanes 6 are provided corresponding to these ports. In the pressure air supply means, a blower 4 is provided at the inside or outside thereof. The air whose pressure is increased by the vanes is supplied to the jet pipe.
