Abstract:
PURPOSE: To directly blow hot air on a web to prevent the conventional heat transfer inhibition due to an air layer, and to further prevent the generation of the fluttering, etc., of a free-running part even when driven at a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: In a drying device in which a continuous web is carried with a drier roll or with plural drier rolls and simultaneously dried, hot air is blown on the web from hot air-blowing holes 3 disposed in the drier cell of the drier roll.
