To develop a drying facility, equipped with a novel continuous box-type dryer which prevents an in-chamber gas from flowing out and heat of the in-chamber gas from being emitted from a feed port and a discharge port of a drying chamber of the continuous box-type dryer, and improve energy efficiency of the whole drying facility.
The drying facility includes a temperature raising and circulating mechanism 3 configured to take the in-chamber gas G5 out of the drying chamber 10 of the continuous box-type dryer 1, to raise the temperature thereof to produce circulating gas G3, and to return the circulating gas G3 back into the drying chamber 10, and an air supply mechanism 2 for supplying an outside air G0 for ventilation into the drying chamber 10, the air supply mechanism 2 being configured to direct and jet from outside the drying chamber 10 to the feed port 11 and discharge port 12 the outside air G0 having its temperature raised in a range of -80°C to +80°C to the temperature of the in-chamber gas G5 in the drying chamber 10, and to introduce the outside air G0 into the drying chamber 10.
