As drying furnace main bodies 2-5 are arranged in two stages in the vertical direction and in two rows in the lateral direction in this drying furnace 1, the proprietary space can be substantially reduced. Further as a switching means is mounted for selectively switching the drying furnace main bodies 2-5 to which hot air is supplied from heat generation sources 6, 6, the hot air is supplied only to the drying furnace main bodies 2-5 receiving bodies B by controlling the switching means, in a case when the manufacturing quantity of the bodies B is reduced, and the bodies B are received only in certain drying furnace main bodies 2-5. Thus the energy loss can be reduced regardless of the change of manufacturing quantity.
