Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying furnace capable of reducing a running cost and an initial cost by preventing high temperature air from flowing out through a groove part of a furnace body.SOLUTION: A drying furnace, in which paint coated on a surface of a workpiece is dried, comprises a furnace body, a carrier 31 and plural opening/closing mechanisms 51. A groove part 17 extending along a conveying direction of the workpiece is provided in a floor part 14 of the furnace body. In the carrier 31, a distal end part thereof supports the workpiece and, in a state in which a proximal end part thereof is protruded to a rear side of the floor part 14, the workpiece is conveyed along the conveying direction passing inside the groove part 17. Each of the opening/closing mechanisms 51 is disposed adjacent to each other along the conveying direction and is displaceable to an initial position of the groove part 17 closed at a time of non-passage in the carrier 31 and to an opening position of the groove part 17 open at a time of passage in the carrier 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
