To provide a drying machine which realizes further energy saving by efficiently using heat generated at a motor in a housing, for drying, and also by reducing a channel loss at a time when air for drying passes through an air duct.
The drying machine comprises: an outer tank 20, an inner part of which becomes a drying chamber at a time of drying; a rotary drum 29 which is rotatably arranged in the outer tank 20 and accommodates laundry therein; a motor 36 for driving the drum, which drives the rotary drum 29; the housing 2 for supporting the rotary drum 29; the air duct for sending warm air to the rotary drum 29; a drying filter 19 for collecting lint; and a fan 61 that has a rotary vane 26 and a motor 28 for driving the fan, which drives the rotary vane 26. The fan 61 is arranged so that the motor 28 for driving the fan is located at a side of the outer tank 20 and the rotary vane 26 is located at a far side from the outer tank 20.
