Title:
DRYING METHOD AND DRYING DEVICE APPLIED FOR DRYING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3163239
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable various kinds of items to be dried in a short period of time without damaging or weakening the items by a method wherein ultrasonic wave is applied within a drying chamber against the items transported by a transporting means so as to remove water adhered to the items.
SOLUTION: Items 2 such as a printed circuit board, a retrot food and live flowers or the like are placed on and transported by a transporting means 1 and fed into a drying chamber 3. The items 2 fed into the drying chamber 3 are processed such that water droplets or the like adhering to the surfaces of the items are activated by upper and lower two ultrasonic wave generators 4 to become small water droplets or fog, blown out. Then, the water droplets are heated by far infrared rays generated by a far infrared ray generating device 5 and evaporated. Blown-out water and evaporated water are discharged out of the drying chamber 3 by a dehumidifier 6. Thus, the dried items 2 are transported out of the drying chamber 3. With such an arrangement as above, various kinds of items can be dried within a short period of time without damaging or weakening the items 2.
