Abstract:
To provide a drying method for producing a dried matter having a desired water content, while suppressing variation in the quantity of a matter being dried, without causing firing during drying operation regardless of the water content of the matter being dried or the degree of difficulty of drying operation.
In a drying equipment comprising a rotary tubular body, and a hot air pipe for ejecting hot air disposed in the tubular body in the direction of the rotational axis thereof, water content of a matter being dried is measured at one or more points before, during or after drying operation and the temperature or the flow rate of hot air is controlled based on the measurements.
