Abstract:

To provide a drying section of a machine for producing fiber web.

The drying section of a machine for producing paper, paperboard, tissue paper or other fiber web(2) has at least one suction roll(1), being such that fiber web(2) can be guided relative to the shell of the suction roll(1) from above downward around the suction roll(1), can be guided around the underside area of the shell of the 1st suction roll(1), and can be guided from below upward again so as to be set apart from the shell of the 1st suction roll(1), and a 1st impingement dryer(6) is set against the shell of the suction roll(1), wherein the 1st impingement dryer(6) is set substantially against only a one-fourth lower part of the exit side of the 1st suction roll(1).
