Abstract:
To save a thermal energy by utilizing the exhaust heat of a drying system for a coating material having a preheater for a heat source of the preheater.
The drying system for a coating material comprises a dryer for blowing hot air from a hot air blower 8 to the circumference of a drying drum 1 wrapped with a base material 2 and rotating to exhaust the air by an exhausting unit 6, and a preheater 13 provided at an upstream side of the running direction of the base material from the dryer to preheat the surface of the base material at the upstream side of a coating material coating unit 12, in such a manner that the exhaust gas from the exhausting unit of the dryer is used for the heat source of the preheater.
