PURPOSE: To simplify the operation for dubbing by automatically setting the sound recording speed of a cassette tape recorder and the reproducing speed of a CD player by the operation of the dubbing key of a normal speed or a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: When a cassette mechanism is sound recording operated in the state of setting a function switch FS to the position CDP of the CD player, a sound recording switch S2 is turned on by the operation of a sound recording button switch with that a reproducing switch S1 is turned on according to the movement of a head chassis. The information that the switch S2 is turned on is inputted to a microcomputer CPU to start the sound recording of the cassette tape recorder. The reproduction of the CD player is started at a normal speed by the microcomputer CPU. Thus, a reproducing signal is normal-speed dubbed on a cassette tape from the CD player. Similarly, when a double speed dubbing key HD is operated, the cassette tape recorder is started in the state of double speed sound recording and the reproduced signal of the CD player with a double speed is double speed dubbed on the cassette tape.
