Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the noise suppression effect even if a lower duct is short.SOLUTION: A duct air conditioner comprises: an indoor unit 110 in which a heat exchanger and a blower fan are disposed, that includes a blow-off opening 111 provided in an upper surface and an intake opening 112 provided in a lower surface, and that is disposed in a wall; an upper duct 120 connecting the blow-off opening 111 of the indoor unit 110 to an upper grille 130; and a lower duct 140 connecting the intake opening 112 of the indoor unit 110 to a lower grille 160. The lower duct 140 is a rectangular parallelepiped shape whose cross-section includes major sides 144 and minor sides 145. An interior of the lower duct 140 is divided into two air flow passages 140A and 140B in a direction of the minor sides 145 by a partition wall 143, and sound absorbers 143 are bonded to inner walls of the respective air flow passages 140A and 140B.
