PURPOSE: To obtain comfortable air-conditioning over the whole of an indoor room by avoiding sending air directly against a human body, in the time of normal air- conditioning, by a method wherein by air-flow-shifting louvers, the main direction of air-flow is set facing the wall surfaces, right and left, which adjoin the wall surface forming an air-supplying opening.
CONSTITUTION: Immediately after a person enters a room or when air-conditioning operation begins to be started, the air through a supply opening l is directly sent against a human body 4, and after a definite time elapses, the air is suitably sent against walls like arrow marks, each of which is shown with a solid line, in order to avoid being directly sent against the human body 4. As the result of it, at the time of normal air-conditioning, the temperature of the side walls and interior equipment in a room can be approached to a preset value, and a comfortable space can be spread over the whole of the room, in using radiation like arrow marks, each of which is shown with a broken line. When air-conditioning operation begins to be started, or at the time of cooling immediately after the person enters the room, air-flow-shifting louvers 3 are variably controlled one by one so that the direction of air-flow blown directly faces the human body, while being operated together with indoor conditions estimated and detected by a timer or a human body-detecting sensor, and such is also effective for the comfortable space.
